Tobacco & Nicotine Addiction
There are a number of valuable websites that offer free resources, information, advice, and referrals to those that are seeking to quit smoking. The list below includes both governmental and private sites that provide tips for smokers and free resources, aids, tools, and contacts for addictions including tobacco, nicotine and cigarettes.
Rehab Centers – One of those online resources is RehabCenter.net. This site provides a long list of resources to support the treatment for alcohol and drug addictions of many kinds, and as the name implies, provides access to rehab centers around the country.
QuitLines – The North American Quit Line Consortium is a non-profit membership association of individual state services of toll free or other phone systems to support smokers in their efforts to quit smoking and reducing tobacco use. QuitLines serve an important purpose in providing aid to those addicted to nicotine through individualized counseling and support services.
Below is a link to an article about addiction to Vaping or e-cigarettes. Most experts agree that e-cigs are less harmful than combustible cigarettes, though long term safety studies have not yet been done to see if there are unknown risks. The most common area of concern regarding e-cigs is the continued delivery of nicotine, which is the addictive drug in cigarettes, tobacco, and e-cigs. Sentiens has developed BotanicBoost to deliver a proven satisfying throat hit for smokers than can eliminate the need for nicotine.

OTHER QUIT SMOKING SITES
Quit Day (www.quitday.org ) is a resource rich website that provides information on how to quit smoking. In full disclosure, the site would appear to be supporting the role of e-cigarettes as a method of quitting, and likely has close ties to one or more vaping industry organizations.
Quit.com (www.quit.com ) conversely is a website from the maker of the nicotine patch, GlaxoSmithKline. It has useful information, but similar to QuitDay, readers should be aware of the underlying interests of the website owner.
